ALUMNA DESIGNS FOR CLINTON, HICKENLOOPER

Alumna designs scarves for Clinton, ties for Hickenlooper

When presidential candidate Hillary Clinton publicly criticized Donald Trump last July for having his branded ties made in China instead of, say, Colorado, CSU alumna Christiana Lambert and her co-workers at the Knotty Tie Co. seized the opportunity. Lambert, who graduated in 2015 with an undergraduate degree in art, and the team at the Denver startup created custom scarves for the former secretary of state. Clinton then visited Knotty Tie and wore one of the scarves at a subsequent appearance. Gov. John Hickenlooper has followed suit, purchasing a Knotty tie featuring the Denver skyline.
