From the first day of classes in August to commencement in December, fall may be the best season to be on the Colorado State campus. Not only are the trees on the Oval turning their glorious autumn colors, but there are also so many events and activities for alumni, friends, and students to feel like they are part of the Ram Family. Ag Day and Homecoming and Family Weekend are great ways to show your Ram Pride and give back to the University, while the Symposium for Inclusive Excellence has been opening up important community dialogue for more than two decades.

SEPTEMBER 24

AG Day

Ag Day has been an annual tradition celebrating the College of Agricultural Sciences and CSU’s agricultural roots for more than four decades. It’s a time to come together with agricultural producers and partners to elevate scholarship and strengthen the spirit of collaboration.

Nutrien AG Day BBQ

The highlight of Ag Day has always been the pregame outdoor barbecue featuring quality Colorado food products prepared by the state’s growers and producers. The Nutrien Ag Day BBQ, held on the intramural fields north of Canvas Stadium, starts at 10 a.m. before the football game against Sacramento State at 2 p.m.

Proceeds from ticket sales and donations from sponsors fund scholarships for agricultural sciences students. Since 2000, Ag Day has raised $543,537 to support 319 individual scholarships.

OCTOBER 13-15

Homecoming and Family Weekend

From honoring accomplished alumni at the Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony and family fun during the Festival on the Oval to celebrating green and gold traditions during Friday Night Lights and Saturday Game Day, there will be something for everyone to connect back to CSU.
