MOVE-IN: 2015

The Fall 2015 semester was full of heart and highlights for first-year students at Colorado State University. CSU is focused on ensuring both access and success for students, in the classroom and through a wide range of co-curricular activities, and our Ram Welcome. And becoming part of the Ram Family extends to the rest of your family, who are welcomed with open arms as well.

Access + Support = Successful Learning

Colorado State University has been very intentional in building programs for student success. The record number of students who came to CSU this fall, and unprecedented rates of alumni participation and engagement, tell an overnight success story at least a decade in the making. “Students don’t separate themselves into different people inside and then outside of the classroom,” explained Blanche Hughes, vice president for Student Affairs. “They need to be supported in all parts of their educational experience.” (Read more)

CSU videographer Brian Buss captured it all. (Read more)

That meant surpassing the previous record set in 2012. “In a single recruitment year, we knew it was going to be a stretch,” she said. But the stretch proved a success after the official census was taken and the numbers were in. (Read more)

The Kids are Back in Town!

CSU staff and volunteers lined up to welcome home students at the residence halls and lend a helping hand. The beautiful Colorado weather did its part to make move-in go smoothly, and Ram Pride made the sun shine even brighter for students and their families making the fall trek to CSU. Photographer John Eisele captured some of the best moments throughout the week. (Read more)

The Long Good-Bye
