SEAMS FITTING

The newly remodeled and expanded Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising reopened this spring, including four galleries, classroom/seminar space, a library, a conservation laboratory, and expanded storage/management areas for CSU’s renowned apparel and textile collection.

Highlights include the Richard Blackwell Gallery, which will display creations from the world’s largest collection of Mr. Black- well designs through Aug. 12. The two-year makeover of the facility, east of the University Center for the Arts, was made possible by the Avenir Foundation and other benefactors.
