The revitalized north wing of the Lory Student Center sprinted to completion over the summer. The upper level of the Bookstore opened in May, followed by the greatly expanded space for Adult Learner and Veteran Services.
Renovations on the 86,718 square feet of space have been underway since May 2022. The upgrades are designed to align with the style of the revitalization of the south end of the LSC completed in 2014, creating a cohesive look for the approximately 388,000-square-foot building.
New and newly renovated areas include the University Ballroom, University Lounge, Aspen Grille, Never No Summer Room, and smaller meeting rooms; all are open and operational for fall semester.
LSC grand opening activities continue through September and during Homecoming and Family Weekend.
